Shenzhen Exhibition Venues and Trade Fair Planning

Distinguish Shenzhen's Futian and Bao'an exhibition venues, choose the right arrival hall and organise a useful supplier visit.

First check
Full venue name and district on this year's event registration
Then save
Hall number, registration lobby and entrance
Supplier meetings
Bring a concise brief and record the next action for each conversation

Confirm the venue before booking your hotel. Shenzhen has two major exhibition centres with similar English names, and a map search for “convention centre” can send you to the wrong part of the city.

Know which venue your event uses

Venue Chinese name to save Location or arrival detail
Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center 深圳会展中心 Futian: 福田区福华三路111号
Shenzhen World Exhibition and Convention Center 深圳国际会展中心 Bao’an; choose the lobby for your event

For Shenzhen World, the ITES organiser’s transport guide identifies Lines 12 and 20, with Shenzhen World station (国展站) for the south lobby and Shenzhen World North station (国展北站) for the north lobby. Confirm your event’s hall and entrance rather than selecting a station from the venue name alone.

The Transport Bureau source below provides Chinese place-name context from an earlier event. Use your current organiser’s instructions for event-specific shuttles, entrances and traffic arrangements.

Check the event itself

For the October 2026 electronics manufacturing show, see our NEPCON ASIA 2026 visitor guide for the organiser’s dates, registration instructions and meeting preparation.

Open the organiser’s page for the edition you plan to attend. Record the dates, visitor hours, venue, registration requirements and badge-collection location. Check whether your intended day is open to your visitor category and whether the identity document used in registration must be shown.

Keep the confirmation and hall map offline. If several events share a venue, save the event name as well as the building name. A taxi drop-off at a loading gate will not help you find visitor registration.

Choose accommodation around the working day

For several consecutive exhibition days, compare the daily door-to-door journey before choosing a central hotel. For a mixed trip, list your exhibition, market and supplier appointments on a map first. Our where-to-stay guide explains the main district choices.

Leave room after the final appointment for leaving the hall and finding transport. If catching a flight, plan that day backwards from airport check-in rather than the exhibition closing time.

Make a supplier visit useful

Prepare a short brief with your product, quantities, technical questions and target schedule. Choose a few priority exhibitors, request meetings where useful, and leave time to explore adjacent suppliers.

For each conversation, record the company, contact, booth, relevant capability and next action. Separate what you saw demonstrated from what the representative promised. Ask permission before photographing samples or demonstrations.

After the visit, compare responses against the same requirements and request missing evidence. The hardware prototyping and manufacturing guide covers the steps from an initial contact to samples and production decisions.
